Fresno State is committed to creating an inclusive and accessible digital environment for all students, staff, visitors, and community members. The Office of Digital Accessibility collaborates closely with the Services for Students with Disabilities and IDEAS offices to address the diverse needs of our campus community. We offer a comprehensive suite of services to support digital accessibility across all university platforms, ensuring everyone can effectively engage with our digital content and services.

Our key offerings include:

  • Electronic Document Remediation: Making electronic documents accessible, ensuring they are readable and usable for individuals with disabilities.
  • Customized Hands-On Accessibility Training: Delivering tailored, practical training sessions to empower staff, faculty, and students in creating accessible content and using accessibility tools effectively.
  • Accessibility Training Module Development: Creating customized training modules focused on best practices in digital accessibility.
  • Captioning and Transcription Services: Providing support for video content through captions and transcriptions to enhance accessibility for users with hearing impairments.
  • Accessible Event Planning: Assisting with planning accessible virtual and in-person events, considering multimedia, communication aids, and physical accessibility to ensure inclusivity.
  • Accessible Video Support: Ensuring all video content, including educational and promotional materials, is accessible through captioning, appropriate descriptions, and other accessibility features.
