What's New

The project involves transferring data storage from the existing file system storage (fs-stor) to Google Drive. This migration aims to leverage Google Drive's cloud-based storage capabilities for enhanced accessibility, collaboration, and data management.

The upcoming project involves implementing Backupify to back up data stored in Google Drive. This will include configuring Backupify to regularly and securely save copies of the data, ensuring that it can be easily restored in case of accidental deletion, data corruption, or other data loss events. The goal is to enhance data protection and recovery capabilities for the organization's Google Storage.

The project involves upgrading the operating systems on our Windows and Linux servers to their latest versions. This will include planning the upgrade process, testing the new OS versions for compatibility with existing applications, performing the upgrades, and verifying that all systems and services are functioning correctly post-upgrade. The goal is to improve security, performance, and supportability of our server infrastructure.

The ongoing server patching project involves regularly updating the software on our servers with the latest security patches, bug fixes, and performance improvements. This includes identifying necessary patches, scheduling and applying them during maintenance windows, and verifying that servers and applications operate correctly after updates. The goal is to maintain the security, stability, and performance of our server infrastructure.
